The terms Integrity Zone (ZI), Corruption Free Area (WBK) and Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) may be familiar to you. However, do you know the differences between ZI, WBK and WBBM? Before answering this question, let's look at the background regarding ZI, WBK and WBBM.
In order to achieve good governance, clean and free from corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN), bureaucratic reform is carried out, which if effective will achieve one of the goals of reducing and ultimately eliminating any abuse of public authority by officials in the relevant agencies. .
One of the sub-actions in the law enforcement and bureaucratic reform sector is the construction of an Integrity Zone. ZI development is considered a role model for bureaucratic reform in upholding integrity and quality services. Thus, ZI development becomes an important aspect in preventing corruption in government.
The Integrity Zone (ZI) predicate towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) is the starting gate in realizing a clean and serving bureaucracy.
The main objective in developing ZI towards WBK/WBBM: is to prevent corruption, collusion and nepotism and improve the quality of public services.

Integrity Zone (ZI) is a title given to government agencies whose leadership and staff are committed to realizing WBK/WBBM through bureaucratic reform, especially in terms of preventing corruption and improving the quality of public services.
Towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) is a predicate given to a work unit/area that fulfills most of the change management, governance arrangements, HR management system structuring, strengthening supervision and strengthening performance accountability.
Towards a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) is a predicate given to a work unit/area that fulfills most of the Change Management, Management Arrangements, HR Management System Arrangements, Strengthening Supervision. Strengthening Performance Accountability and Strengthening the Quality of Public Services.
On Tuesday (5/3) West Manggarai BPS held an internal meeting in the PST (Integrated Statistical Services) room to discuss ZI Development towards WBK & WBBM within the West Manggarai Regency Central Statistics Agency. At this meeting, we discussed the requirements needed for the declaration of ZI at BPS Mabar.
