On Monday morning (20/5) BPS West Manggarai Regency held a rally at the BPS Mabar Office as a Commemoration Ceremony for the 116th National Harkitnas in 2024 within BPS. And therefore the clothes worn today are the Korpri uniform.
The theme for Harkitnas 2024 is "Rise Up for a Golden Indonesia" which was chosen to emphasize the importance of national awakening in directing Indonesia towards a brighter and more advanced future, especially in order to welcome the 100th anniversary of Indonesia's independence in 2045, known as Indonesia Gold.
National Awakening Day is celebrated every 20 May to commemorate the founding of the Budi Utomo organization on 20 May 1908. The Budi Utomo organization became a milestone in national awakening because it sparked a spirit of unity, integrity and nationalism among Indonesian people.
