Interview Assessment for the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics

On Wednesday morning (26/6) a meeting was held to implement the EPSS Assessment Progress (Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation) in the hall of the West Manggarai Regency BPS office. This meeting was attended by an accompanying team from BPS West Manggarai, and the EPSS assessment team consisting of representatives of OPD (Regional Apparatus Organizations) who are members of the EPSS team. The OPDs present were the Communication and Informatics Service, the Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Service, the Health Service and the Regional Revenue Agency. On this day, an EPSS interview assessment was carried out by conducting an interview (question and answer) and clarifying the supporting evidence that had been collected. The EPSS interview assessment was carried out using a zoom meeting between the Agency Assessment Team and the Internal Assessment Team in the BPS hall of West Manggarai Regency.

Every central and local government agency can use EPSS to measure how well they carry out statistical activities. In 2024, KemenpanRB will conduct an evaluation of General Bureaucratic Reform using the results of EPSS, namely the Statistical Development Index. According to Agency Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the EPSS assessment is carried out in three stages: independent assessment by the Internal Assessment Team (TPI), document assessment, interview assessment, and/or visitation assessment by the Agency Assessment Team (TPB).
