October 2020 East Nusa Tenggara Inflation 0.26 percent

Abstract

October 2020, 3 cities in East Nusa Tenggara experienced an inflation of 0.26 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 102.92. Kupang City experienced Inflation of 0.19 percent, the City of Maumere experienced Inflation of 0.87 percent and the City of Waingapu experienced Inflation of 0.18 percent.

The October 2020 inflation in East Nusa Tenggara occurred due to an increase in the price index in 5 of 11 expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced the largest increase in the price index was the health group, which rose by 1.01 percent.

In October 2020, of the 90 national CPI sample cities, 66 cities experienced inflation and 24 cities experienced deflation. The city with the highest inflation occurred in Sibolga with 1.04 percent and the lowest inflation occurred in DKI Jakarta, Cirebon, Bekasi, and Jember at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the largest deflation occurred in the city of Manokwari at 1.81 percent and the lowest deflation occurred in the city of Surabaya at 0.02 percent.
